Is Your Exercise in Check?
We always hear how exercise is an important part of our physical and mental well-being. But as with nutrition, it is also important to maintain balance with exercise. Over exercising can put undue stress on our system, including our joints, digestive system or adrenals which in turn can seriously affect our hormonal and mental health.
There is also no one “fit for all” with exercise as each individual needs to take into consideration their age, how active/sedentary they are, injuries or medical conditions etc. Getting some time out in nature, going for a walk in the bush or on the beach can also be a part of an overall balanced exercise programme.
Having variety and some fun with your exercise is also important to keep you motivated and consistent with your exercise regime. Sometimes the smallest of changes can have profound effects on the results we achieve.
